Living in Canada, one thing I have begin to appreciate more than ever is any beauty product that would help my skin deal with the harsh winters here. I always remembered my skin to be oily however in the last few years, its become very dry – it could be because of age as well! Well, I’m 35 now and I believe after 30 is when your skin starts to show signs of ageing. I am someone who never liked to put on tons of products on my face however lately I am ready to try on anything and everything that would help my skin feel healthy and young.
I got the deluxe sample of Clarins Hydra Essentiel intensive moisture quenching bi-phase serum- phew- its definitely a mouthful! I had this in my draw for a while now and got around to trying this few weeks back when I noticed after I washed my face I had dry patches- I wish I took a picture that day. I literally opened my draw to see if I could find anything new I could try, a true test- try something when your skin is at your worst and see if it will stand up to the test. I read through the instructions and it said shake the bottle and apply few pumps on your face and neck. Since I had a good big dry patch, I stood in front of the mirror and applied it on the patch. It was literally magic- my skin absorbed the serum in a second and I could no longer see any dry patch at all the whole day. It is water based and very light, It feels like you are applying water- its non sticky and has a light pleasant smell like all other clarins product. I love the smell of Clarins skincare because it smells like spa- I feel silly even saying it given they have spa’s around the world.
It is sold in all departmental stores and in sephora, it retails for $57 for 30Ml. It is little pricey however it is worth it if you suffer from dry skin and need something to fix it for harsh winters. Let me know if you have tried the product and what you thought of it.
